I am a small batch weaver working in natural fibers in my little Portland based Studio. I weave mainly on Louet Megado Looms. We also design and 3D print accessories for Louet and Schacht floor looms to make weaving easier!

I am continuing my study of the book Woven Optical Illusions by Stacey Harvey-Brown and this draft was inspired by “Translumina” by Richard Anuszkiewisz. I created a profile draft and applied a 7 Shaft Damask weave structure. Super excited to see this off the loom already! #weave #multishaftweaving

I am in school, working towards my BFA. I thought I would share my latest project for my Space class. It is a memoryscape of a trip to the Redwoods. When one points the whole thing up to the sky and looks through the viewfinder, you are transported to the base of a tree.

So, every loom has a project and the warping board is waiting for the yarn delivery that was supposed to arrive via USPS yesterday at the latest (but they have taken my package on an extended vacation again - this keeps happening and I don’t understand it). Anyway…….

12 years ago KC Green created the comic with the smiling dog saying “This is fine” as his house burned down around him. I have been wanting to do something inspired by the comic. I got designing and came up with this towel that is inspired by that comic. In my shop now.

Thought I would share my most recent project for my school sewing project. It is a woven fabric composition (the main fabrics are commercial) and I wove the strap so it would match. #weavers #weaving #sewing
