Obsessive holiday planner in my spare time, tax adviser in working hours.
Not a fan of lying, cheating, misogynistic, self-serving narcissists & insurrectionists. Or anyone who tries to talk to me when I am singing along to Spotify
No classified information? Trump, Vance and their whole corrupt administration are blatant and serial gaslighters

"Never in history has a President of the United States capitulated to the enemy. Never has anyone supported an aggressor against an ally. Washington has become Nero's court, with an incendiary emperor, submissive courtiers & a jester high on ketamine."

Does anyone else with underfloor heating come down in the morning to sprawled cats all over the kitchen floor?

I wonder if there is any comparable polling for previous presidents. At least a good portion of Europeans have his number!

The orange (increasingly red) buffoon is evidently just Putin’s poodle. History will judge his shameful behaviour
What’s clear at this point is that the Trump strategy on Ukraine is to only place pressure on Zelensky, not Putin. The moves we’ve seen have been to give Russia everything it wants, and Ukraine nothing. It’s a complete reversal of the American position from only 6 weeks ago.

NEW: JD Vance describes UK & French troops in Ukraine as “20,000 troops from some random country that hasn’t fought a war in 30 or 40 years”.

Spits in the face of UK & EU troops that died supporting the US in Iraq & Afghanistan.

So revealing. The Atlantic alliance & “special relationship” is dead.

HERO vs ZERO
I'm in a state of shock & still trying to process yesterday's shameful, traitorous debacle in the WH: A DAY THAT WILL LIVE IN INFAMY. Our standing in the world has plummeted overnight, but the repercussions will be felt forevermore.

Starmer has been very impressive in the last 48 hrs - calm and decisive, convening effectively and getting an agreed plan. It felt that Britain was back in its old role of leadership on European security. Many pitfalls between here and lasting peace. But crisis has become opportunity. Bravo team UK!

Strong controls are clearly needed but a High Court judge sign off seems excessive and unworkable for the majority. Like many others who have had to watch a loved one endure the slow agony and indignity of end of life care, I fear this will be a missed opportunity to ease that suffering for most.
It’s worth remembering that for a lot of people the issue isn’t whether the Assisted Dying bill isn’t strict enough but whether it’s too restrictive. That point of view is going entirely undiscussed.
