Academia is based on an incentive system that rewards exactly what AI allows to do: publishing as many articles as quickly as possible, with the only safeguard of quality being unpaid reviewers labour.
AI slop is just precipitating the collapse this system was, rightfully, doomed to.

Still stands. Behaviour or conduct can be illegal, not people as such. 'Illegal alien' presupposes a criminal act that determines a person's status, but irregular enter or stay is usually an administrative infraction, not a crime, produced by unfair migration rules.

Definitely. Given the value and epistemological cleavage w/ MAGA, which thwarts any dialogue attempt across the fence, I guess exposing these cracks, the boomerang effect of repression on their own tenets like gun ownership or white privilege, is what can make their blind faith in Trump waver a bit.

Also, it is dramatically ironic that are the 2nd amendment apostles who are bringing up the fact that Pretti had a gun as something legitimising the brutality of CBP.
