Australians are very good at voting for Independents. At the last election nearly one third of us gave an independent or minor party our first preference.

Imagine kindness in Parliament? It can happen. Already does with the Teals and Verity will enhance it. Remember also Jacinda Ardern who embodied it in NZ.
Our campaign is based on the values of truth, integrity, inclusiveness and kindness.

These will also be my guiding values if you elect me to represent #Sturt in Canberra.

Let’s do politics differently.

Vote 1️⃣ Dr Verity Cooper - for a new way.

He was way ahead of his time, but few listened. A prophet against profit. He will truly be missed.

Pope Francis’s intervention in the climate debate puts him on collision course with global elites.

Friday essay: ‘War has made me a pacifist’. Why are we so reluctant to acknowledge Australia’s anti-war veterans?
From the first world war to the invasion of Iraq, left-wing soldiers have questioned our involvement in wars. Yet we rarely hear these dissenting veteran’s voices.

Just saying this again because it's important: fossil gas was responsible for the biggest chunk of the rise in emissions in the energy sector from 2023 to 2024

Gas is a fossil fuel and a pollutant: dumping it and burning it causes suffering and death to living things

We're appalling sycophants
How appalling that the Australian Government has not shown support for the International Criminal Court after the US Government’s sanctions against it. This is a matter of principle. The ICC deals with war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity.

Wasn't @zoedaniel.bsky.social so good on the Press Club. Absolutely clear and absolutely right about what is wrong with the 2-party system. I look forward to her having an important role in Labor-led minority government. She is front-bench material!
