Moises Ballesteros getting the call to Chicago over Alcantara, Cassie and even Shaw is really interesting. The bat can play no question but taking a 40 man spot and calling him up over the previously mentioned guys is very telling of how he is viewed by the Cubs organization.

It’s not completely out of the ordinary for teams to not settle on a dollar figure instead of going to arbitration. However the Cubs really aren’t doing themselves any favors by being 2.5 million away from what Kyle Tucker wants. Pay it forward and try to get some goodwill for next offseason.
