The New Republic looked into claims made by ADF and its plaintiff in 303 Creative, about a request to design a wedding website for a same-sex couple. The person ADF claimed was requesting it never made the request, and is a straight married man.

USA Today reported that ADF’s general counsel (now CEO) had her teenage daughter testify in support of a ban on transgender students from school sports, using a false accusation about a rival softball player. The player was not transgender, she merely had short hair.

Conservatives want to ban transgender athletes from girls sports. Their evidence is shaky.

Ban supporters say transgender girls dominated in softball, basketball and track. A USA TODAY investigation exposed vague and untrue evidence.
