That's totally fair. Though I think the solution is more people like you, who are willing to say "I dunno but we can be better" being political. Also there's no way you are too stupid to figure out politics. Behold the current political scene, you're better than like 70% of 'em based on our chat.

Naming and shaming only works if it's a really quiet dogwhistle. When everybody can see it, unless someone in good faith asks what happened recently, you don't need to give dogshit people extra attention.

It's because they don't have anything cool! They can only co-opt and steal. I like politics (unfortunately), and I'm a dirty commie so this also isn't my first time around the fascist attempted circle jerk. It 100% sucks eggs tho. Don't be stupid. Vtubing isn't a cohesive community but a loosely bound group of fans of a specific art style. Just like with any other fandom, you can push back, ignore, and fight the alt-right dickheads, or you can leave the fandom to be defined by the fascists.

The burned furs never went away there's still some disgusting alt-right furs around. They have platforms. But the furries ignore or kick them out because they learned from the burned furs.
