Lincolnshire Police are asking for help: who might own a pack of foxhounds misusing a level crossing, causing a passenger train to emergency brake and killing two dogs. Someone on horseback may be a witness, apparently. It's a mystery!

I can't get over those cartoon eyes.

Those delicate, translucent 'leaves' (cerata, as I've learned). Those supernatural, otherworldly vibes. That Pixar-cum-Ghibli creature appearance...

This is the "SEA SHEEP" (Costasiella kuroshimae) & it took the old axiom: "you are what you eat" VERY literally.

It eats algae & rather than just digest them, it harvests the chloroplasts & becomes PHOTOSYNTHETIC. Solar slug!

Also, some of its cousins can rip their own heads off.

3 records broken in 2 days in the city ,2 of which in one of the oldest observatories of South America.

South America is living an extraordinary heat,with records broken in Colombia,Guyanas,Ecuador and Brazil since day #1.

Exceptional warm night in the Airport station of the Brazilian metropolis with a Minimum Temperature of 25.4C,the highest ever recorded in December.

Record heat in South America will continue and get worse next days.
Expect several more records.

Among the places with Highest positive temperature anomalies this month we have GREENLAND

For example so far this month the average temperature at Narsarsuaq has been +2.9C which is a whopping +8.4C above the 1991/2020 norm and it's even 1C warmer than its OCTOBER average:Crazy
