Najarian could likely continue his corrupt, regressive, self-interested political career in Ohio where he was raised, or any number of red states friendly to his close-minded parochialism. Instead he feels entitled to inflict his unpopular views over people who don’t want them. Good riddance.

Najarian’s politics aren’t hard to categorize- he uses his role on metro board to cover his NIMBY anti transit, anti green energy core. He may support transit projects but only if they don’t impact his former sundown town. He’s a frequent vocal amplifier of anti-LGBTQ+, anti-public school misinfo.

Ara is in fact a republican so its weird to frame it as being “labeled” one. His words, actions, and public associations are fully in line with the Republican Party’s policy preferences and in group/out group values- he just doesn’t like being publicly identified with its toxic leader.

Ara shows a stunning lack of perspective and awareness- blaming the democratic system itself for his inability to win anywhere but in his low-turnout local race, rather than the fact he is a member of an unpopular minority party linked to widespread abuses of immigrants, women, and LGBTQ+ people.

Truly despicable appropriation- they refer to an “abortion holocaust” and explicitly align with the heroism with Sophie and Hans Scholl.

Noting that anti-trans Christian nationalist candidate for state superintendent of education Sonja Shaw also claims Moses Heredia as a “friend” and posted a pic of his book she claims to be “reading.”

Reactionary right assembly members Kate Sanchez and David Tangipa joined the paid operatives attempting to prevent trans kids from playing sports.

Despite crowing “save girls sports,” fired PE teacher Jessica Tapia, activist/exhibitionist Beth Bourne, far right politician Sonja Shaw + the orgs that pay them say nothing abt the rampant abuses revealed in the Epstein files, or the horrific conditions faced by children detained by ICE.
