My heart had already walked away from Labour, this morning my head walked away. I'm fucking scunnered with them.
November 16, 2025 at 5:48 PM
So it will probably be Libdem or not voting for me. LD will get nowhere. It'll be SNP vs Reform I suspect. 3 councillors in the constituency have already defected to Reform, and there have been notable immigration protests by 'concerned locals' backed by actual fascists, so I'm not optimistic.
November 16, 2025 at 5:47 PM
The local CLP was mired in a senseless anti-semitism scandal a few years back, and the one solitary voice against the now late former MP has became a raging terf. It's all very frustrating. I want to support them, they are my natural home, but for me Labour is not about persecuting minorities.
November 16, 2025 at 5:45 PM
Where I am the councillors are pretty good, they see the smaller local picture, just to be absolutely fair minded.
I've voted for them before on a personal and performance basis, and I would do again. Their candidate for SP26 is proven and excellent...but I cannot vote for indy as currently packaged

It’s the hope that gets you. Labours biggest problem is appeasing people who didn’t and won’t vote Labour. They should do Labour things and fuck the daily mail. That might improve things and get more folk out to vote for them. They are squandering the mandate, and handing over the reigns.

Some of the bampots are now Alba and Salvo. There are some decent folk in the SNP. And some shites in the other parties.
November 16, 2025 at 3:39 PM
I don’t expect him to, just worth reminding people who he is.
November 16, 2025 at 2:47 PM
I’m maybe being unfair to Paul Daniels.

Phil Collins threatened to leave too.
November 16, 2025 at 1:30 PM
I think Paul Daniels threat to leave the UK if Labour were elected in 1997 was the real Blair bounce.

Cleese hasn't been funny for about 30 years unfortunately.

"Hats all folks!"

The then SNP figure who was tasked with investigating Hanveys antisemitism was in fact also an antisemite. All the terfs are happy to stand with her despite this though.
November 16, 2025 at 1:09 PM
He should never have been elected as he was suspended at the time. The ballots were already printed and out. He’s one of the main reasons I think there should be a by-election if elected members resign the whip or change party.

and 3/3 because he chaperoned George Galloway into Parliament. Galloway who said that Assange's alleged penetration of a sleeping partner wasn't rape and that gays aren't equal.

So forgive us all Neale, but we'll take no lectures from you about protecting women children or gay people.
November 16, 2025 at 12:44 PM
Because 2/3 He is close to Dave 'Mephedrone' Llewellyn, who's then legal loophole exploiting synthetic high products were implicated in over 120 deaths.
November 16, 2025 at 12:39 PM
We know how much Neale wants to protect women children and gays because 1/3 he worked extensively with a convicted domestic abuser. www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottis...

Organisers and speakers from a recent ‘Enough is Enough’ rally turned up at a protest. The council suspended classes to protect centre staff and users.

It is horrific times.
November 16, 2025 at 11:26 AM
The ESOL classes had ran without incident for nearly a decade, each part of the campus is secure. ‘Concerned locals’ didn’t like the idea of ‘unvetted’ brown skinned men standing outside the campus waiting for their transport. Thing is, they were actually vetted, trying to assimilate & integrate.
November 16, 2025 at 11:25 AM
Two councillors in Renfrew recently defected to Reform, John Gray from Tories and Jamie McGuire from Labour. The town also saw all adult education classes removed from schools after a right wing manufactured scandal about ESOL classes held in a campus shared by adult education a nursery and school

I would say they are also centre right to far left. I don’t think many hardcore reform voters would attend. Not many to the right of moderate Rory. Was it a good night? I have the podcast on in the car, not sure if I’d payvthe high ticket price though..
