Mike Flanagan's adaptation for The Life of Chuck is getting a lot of early praise. I love the novella, and I can't wait for its June 6th wide release.

Awesome used bookstore haul. Any recommendations from this pile? I've read and enjoyed other works by Harlan Ellison, Tim O'Brien, Pat Frank, and Graham Greene.

My current reads. All nonfiction, all very different from one another, and all are really good so far.

Haha, I used to sell books hand over fist. When I make my return to publishing, I wonder how much will have changed. It'll be like starting over.

I have an urge to reread some classic Barker. Should I read my ratty paperback of Weaveworld, or my 1st edition? Do you read 1st editions, or just let them look pretty on your bookshelf?

I woke up tired after going to bed early last night. I just checked my Fitbit, and my sleep was bonkers. 40% R.E.M. sleep, and 18% deep sleep. I normally get up at 3:45 am so that's not unusual. Guess I had a lot on my mind.

Just found this cool photo of my 2nd great grandfather, John August Krisch, taken in 1893. He worked as a stone mason. The second photo is from the 1920s. Same bridge, but it shows stone steps leading up to the bridge. I think there's a good chance John helped build this bridge.

Teddy recently prevented me from leaving the house. I was okay giving into his influence.

Nice! I love Westlake Soul. It's one of the most emotion-provoking novels I've ever read.

Snippet from a poem of mine. It seems fitting.

We haven't planted any 🌻s. The birds at the bird feeder, on the other hand, did a nice job of it all over our garden.

Also, a bee, because they're awesome.
