Literally just a few hours after posting this review, Fors has updated Pivot with some cool, new features. Two alternative filters (comb!!), dedicated random source (as suggested in the article), and other enhancements!

Alright. I did some music today. Tinnitus is definitely still there. I can hear it through the mix.
Taking it easy, though.
I never monitor very loudly, anyway.
I hope this bout passes soon!

I think if we did that, we'd lose all sense of hearing in that frequency. Then again, the tinnitus is masking that frequency anyway. Stereocilia is so specialized.

My question is: Why have we not made hearing a priority? Why can't we regrow those cilia in the inner ear? Why is "just ignore it" a treatment for tinnitus??

I haven't touched the Octatrack for many months since I started working on the Tonverk, but I am starting to miss the time stretch. I never used it properly, more as a glitchy effect.
OT is still totally viable, by the way.
There is some overlap, but TV and OT are pretty unique.
