Never have I seen so much buzz over a technology that is next to useless. Propped up as a giant leap forward for humanity, actually used for incorrect information, shitty art, weird porn, and “epic roasts”. And considered precious by people who probably thought their Tamagotchi was alive
Is this platform still massively against AI or has it moved more towards acceptance?

Well it’s finally arrived. It’s the GT version so there’s a lot of programming to be done to get rid of the guitar-centric presets. That said, running a drum loop through one of the distorted & phased presets…think I’ve discovered how Seefeel made Fracture

Precisely why I sold my Dave Smith Tempest back when they were new. The most half-arsed unfinished OS imaginable & I still don’t know if they ever fixed it because it’s a drum machine nobody mentions anymore
Imagine just sitting, staring at some instrument you purchased, praying for a firmware update. Just either play it, return it, or sell it off!

Head is so done in from watching so many delay fx pedal YouTube vids that I’m starting to question my love of that particular sound anyway

Flat Beat was such a weird phenomenon. A track very much indebted to Wolfgang Voigt’s Mike Ink and Studio 1 productions from the mid-90s, that actually topped the charts in many countries. The power of a head-nodding yellow puppet, eh

Every single Gearspace or Reddit discussion about, say, tape echo or reverb hardware has a post saying “you can do this with plugins in a DAW”, as though they’re revealing some secret knowledge

I’ve loved it since my dad gave us a tape of it in the 80s. We rented out the film as a result but were perhaps a little too young to understand the ins & outs of dodgy federal agents
this soundtrack album is the BOMB.

Sort of proto-industrial ; the only thing I've heard like it is Stewart Copeland's "Rumblefish", which is a must listen.
You’re not a real DJ unless you’ve dropped this into the middle of a techno set

Oh BOLLOCKS. Knew it was too good to be true
Every Nux pedal I've ever owned has broken within 6 months. Which is a shame as some of them are absurdly good for the money.
