You can't praise "Enlightment values" and in the same breath require religious tests and outlaw thoughts without being a massive hypocrite

This has nothing to do with the Enlightment lol, you just don't like saying it

What's the difference between your emotional fearmongering and these (frankly hilarious) anti-Catholic emotional fearmongering?

November 17, 2025 at 5:27 PM
This is all just emotional reasoning by someone who has never known any Muslims lol

I don't give a fuck about "assimilation". Do you want personal liberty to mean something or not?

Also I find this argument hysterical from a historical point of view

Thank you, found it.

I'm gonna call a shot before looking it up, and I'm going to bet that:

1. both of them were very much for punishing juvenile delinquents lol

2. both were smart enough to *not* say they were for killing children out loud in public

It's also pretty fundy Mormon. And evangelicals definitely would not consider Mormons to be Christians

From the opinion:

I saw it referred to on page 28, I sort of skimmed the dissents
November 9, 2025 at 3:33 AM
They struck down the policy that you are required to use preferred pronouns for someone, but specifically left in place the harassment/antibullying part.

So yeah, it's a bit hair splitting and they say that explicitly.
November 9, 2025 at 3:19 AM
I was a little loose in what I said, the policy was you must use preferred pronouns
November 9, 2025 at 3:05 AM
Schools can absolutely discipline kids for misgendering each other, under the normal "don't bully each other" rules

They can't have a preemptive blanket blanket ban on it. They have to deal with incidents one at a time as they come
November 9, 2025 at 2:18 AM
ah here's the statement I was looking for
November 9, 2025 at 1:58 AM
No, they can, under bullying or harassment rules. The court specifically says that.

I get this feels hairsplitting, but if you read it in the context of "the government has control over your kids and should be limited in what it can make them do" it makes sense
November 9, 2025 at 1:55 AM
I really don't think everyone should be forced to share our culture of calling things like this salad
