From a Norwegian computer enthusiast magazine from the mid-90s, where resellers were posting price sheets. The «floppy drive» was simply called «diskettstasjon» — «diskette station» — very literal translation. :)

Well, now I’ve seen it with my own eyes (running on an FPGA), so it does sort of exist :) Good people at the booth answering questions honestly. Dev kit ships later this year, so we’ll see then!

For reasons, I’m passing through Minneapolis omen route to Las Vegas for CES and with the exception of the way roads are built in a very American way, it does remind me of home. :)

Spent half a day on a walkabout in Kowloon with graphics friends before my flight back home to Norway. Interesting neighborhoods, good (and too much!) dim sum and good conversations — a perfect end to the week. Now, Christmas holidays! 🎄🎅
