I was not prepared for how little sense the bad people would make.

I always want to see the Dem party haters and Republicans party haters broken out by voting history. I have a feeling that a lot of the hate is coming from inside the house.

I’m always struck with how a guy like this gets fifty years while it’s basically impossible to get people like Trump, and many white collar criminals, to serve a day for much bigger crimes.

I’m not talking about Thanksgiving.

I think the growing opinion among scientists is that the odds of life are very high, maybe still even in our own solar system, almost certainly in the galaxy, but the odds of technological life are very small. The latter is based on how long life on earth did without intelligence.

Same. The little bits of chicken in the chicken soup are the perfect application because they are so tiny it’d be easier to get something that will pass.

That about sums it up. Intelligence seems rare on earth (lol) compared to life so maybe it’s not common even when planets have life. So there could be a lot of nature parks out there.

This likelihood makes me quite sad as I grew up anxiously anticipating some kind of contact someday.

I think it’s illegal to criticize farmers in America.

A large fraction of what important people say or do fizzles out in a few days so that if we’d waited a week to learn about it we would have learned about the end at the same time.

This would have been early 70s? People now can’t imagine how dominant IBM was in the computer sector.

It was also a little unsettling that it took a prompt to “blink and smile” and decided on its own to add a kiss. Fortunately it kept it to a grandmotherly peck that was plausible from my grandmother. We are in for a ride because it was visually flawless.
