Edward Handley-Read’s painting "Mametz Wood" (1916) at Glynn Vivian, Swansea - a ghostly forest in the aftermath of the WWI battle. A haunting woodland, it is eerily deceptive - as you draw closer, broken branches, human bodies and shattered equipment emerge on the forest floor.
