Personally, I'd say "The Anatomy Lesson," even if it's a "cliche" or "safe" pick, particularly as an example of a retcon done right; it doesn't really undo anything previously written, while at the same time redefining the character.

Outside of Supes and Krypto, probably Pa Kent, honestly. The scene with Clark on the farm shows exactly why I prefer stories where he's still around; that even Superman needs advice, reassurance, and a good pep talk, now and then.

And him telling Clark he's proud of him hits me on a personal level.

Honestly, I'm a little surprised they actually had the chutzpah to adapt *Guile's hair.*

While I admittedly haven't seen many of this year's movies, I can say that, personally, Superman was the one that made me feel the best after watching it. Well-deserved, if you ask me.
