Found myself on a classic Doctor Who binge, the last couple days. As much as I'm enjoying watching them... it's also kind of bumming me out that modern sci-fi shows feel like they either aren't, or are rarely made with the same kind of "pulp adventure" style those episodes have.

Just finished watching Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein.
All the praise it's been given is beyond deserved, and anything I could say about it has been said by just about everyone, save maybe this: I am beyond glad that del Toro was able to get this movie made, given how long he's wanted to do it.

Just got back from seeing Predator: Badlands.
Overall, I enjoyed it; certainly don't regret seeing it in the theater... but I *really* don't think I agree with the Rotten Tomatoes scores (that I remember seeing, at least) putting it as the third-highest rated Predator movie.

After a bit more than a month, I can now say I have beaten Hollow Knight. A few of my post-game thoughts:
Overall, I enjoyed my time with the game, despite a couple minor qualms.
