By going after Comey, Trump is doing a couple of things. He’s going to lose the case in court but he’s sending a message to the Maga folks: he is the guy to go after. He’s also causing Comey trouble by having to defend himself in court and Comey has to watch out for MAGA folks coming after him.
Trump uses the term radical left as a smoke screen to blame and suppress dissent by the citizens of this country. So anyone who criticizes Trump or the administration is a member of the radical left. This is how fascist ideology creeps in.
