Amateur astrophotographer capturing my own telescope data and using AI to reveal the hidden beauty of deep space. I share enhanced, science-grounded views of the cosmos to inspire curiosity, spark wonder, and bring the universe a little closer to home.
M81, 12 million light-years away in Ursa Major. Reprocessed for cooler tones and dust detail—spiral arms now whisper through the void. 164 mins total integration (30s subs), arcsinh stretch, star mask, soft denoise. Backyard scope, galactic scale.

Not aiming for textbook accuracy or journal-ready data—this is about the feel of the cosmos. Artistic license with real photons. A galaxy rendered to stir the soul, not calibrate a spectrograph.

This image of M81 is based on 164 mins of real telescope data. I used AI to enhance color and structure, guided by a custom style I developed from my edits. It’s not a fake galaxy—just a boosted view of what’s already there. Science meets style.

Another record we don't want to achieve. It's inconceivable to me how people can still deny this is real, when the science is so clear.

I've always wondered if clusters only appear as such because of our view point. If I was looking at it from Neptune, for example, would it still be a cluster?
