Also the Colts are royally fucked. Jones is out, probably for the season from what it looks (not our fault, non-contact injury on the drop back). They ain't winning the superbowl. And they are down their 1st round draft pick for the next two years with a mediocre team, and have to pay a mediocre QB.

The problem, like with any QB extension, is that you don't really have an alternative to him, right? You don't have a high 1st round pick and if you take someone that's on the market, like Mac Jones or whoever, you're probably downgrading. So Darnold can ask more than he's worth, I suppose.

So you're rolling with him as franchise QB? That's very reasonable. Are you gonna have to pay up, for the extension? I imagine he's gonna be cheaper than the guys signed off their rookie contracts, but his price is probably gonna go way up if you commit longterm, isn't it?

well, from my experience so far with riders wearing light coloured shorts in bad weather, it doesn't work so well. And it doesn't cover, uhm, the front.
