More info on Netflix/WBD deal via Neil Cormier on LinkedIn:

🇬🇧/🇮🇪: Netflix will buy WBDs streaming services including TNT Sports International (cycling etc).

🇪🇺: This won't change if you subscribed to D+ as that is splitting. HBO Max subs will see change.

🇺🇸: CNN/TNT Sports are not included in deal.

Somehow it got worse than this year's kit. Way worse. I did not think that was possible.

Bike is gorgeous, kit is a good 7/10. It not being entirely blue is definitely a big improvement.
New kit day (sort of)!! Groupama-FDJ United 🇫🇷 reveal they'll wear the kit they wore at the Tour de France this year. They do have a new look bike, however, as Wilier reveal a gorgeous new red and blue frame design.

Bianchi bikes stay in the WorldTour despite Arkéa-B&B Hotels folding.

They join Bahrain Victorious as a replacement for long standing bike sponsor, Merida.

I would argue Demi Vollering to FDJ was a way bigger move by an order of magnitude.
🇬🇧 Geraint Thomas on 🇧🇪 Remco Evenepoel’s 🇩🇪 Red Bull transfer

“It has got to be the biggest move. I would not say ever, but actually... no, I would say ever.”

So my #SpotifyWrapped is completely useless because it consists entirely of the hundreds of hours of non-offensive, slightly epic but not too exciting background music that I listen to while watching bike races 😂

Anyway, if you need race-watching background music, here are recommendations I guess.

I don't really train my birdies because I like to leave them to do what they want, but a while ago they started landing on my hand whenever I hold it out for them. Lately they're enjoying it so much that they're dive bombing me whenever I don't pay attention to them and don't hold out my hand.

There is no better way to start the weekend than relaxing with a cup of tea while a little budgie is serenading you 😊

So the Eagles' run defense. They may wanna do something about that.

I don't think putting a bunch of recently retired star riders in management positions is a good idea. At all. They have very little experience in the role and they spent their entire careers focussed on optimizing a single person's results - their own- rather than on understanding a team structure.
Ineos Grenadiers have announced that Daryl Impey and Elia Viviani have joined the team as Sport Directors for the 2026 season.

🚨NEW KIT SEASON HAS BEGUN!🚨

Novo Nordisk open the 2026 kit reveal season with a slight update on their 2025 look. A nice update with more green added to the dark blue and the design on the back looks cool. Is it a Taurus thing? I don't know my star signs very well.

If he can convince Olav to stick with his lead-outs in the last 2kms, maybe they didn't waste all that money on a train after all.

That's a long shot though, Olav does love himself another sprinter's wheel.
Decathlon-Ag2r add Mark Renshaw and Heinrich Haussler as sports directors. Renshaw should be especially valuable for new signing Olav Kooij and the sprints

In my final year of school, my physics teacher told me to my face that women with degrees are bitter and depressed.

This is not just a twitter thing, every woman faces comments like this.

If you're a man and you'd never say that, it may be hard to imagine that this happens all the time. It does.
POV: you are a young woman celebrating a recent academic success

@zoeface44.bsky.social I just realized something and I need you to be aware of this:

Sam Darnold has thrown more interceptions this year than Trevor Lawrence.

If you were a bike race, which one would you wanna be?

I've decided I'm picking the Baby Giro. Great race to see young talent show themselves on a big stage, but not quite as high stakes as l'Avenir.

And with it being a U23 race: No aliens allowed! 😃
So as I’m heading out the door, @tonke.bsky.social, @pamina85.bsky.social, and @billylezard.bsky.social are over here playing “If I Was A Race”…

….and I claim Münsterland Giro. Fun little whacky German race late in the season that Jasper keeps winning.

Who else wants to pick a race? 😆

Or the low journalistic standards in general. I follow a lot of cycling news media, but only to make me aware of what *might* be going on.

For factually true information I don't trust any of them and I have to cross-reference and draw inferences to try and figure out what's rumour and what's truth.
Every day I cry about the low editing standards of pretty much all cycling media 🫠 even the most legit sites fairly frequently have typos

While this is a bit concerning, this is a very limited study that only shows that this should be looked into more, but doesn’t conclusively show that there is an effect in reality.
