Mimosa day. Had to go to 3 stores to find oranges 🍊 from Egypt (they aren’t trying to annex Canada). Used our French bubbles as my 🇨🇦 ones I am saving for a patio day. It was worth the squeeze rotfl. 😂 Sorry. I am laughing at my own pun. I find myself more hilarious after mimosas. Elbows Up.

As we elbow up against the senseless and unprovoked “Trump” tariff attacks and hope our American friends are OK, I reflect on why our sovereignty is worth fighting for. We will never be 51st.

I love him (Wab Kinew). I wish Alberta’s premier would do the same. I can still vote with my wallet. I have been boycotting USA alcohol since early Feb. I won’t back down. Zin’s were a favourite (we spell that with a “u” too), but I will survive. #ElbowsUp #IWillSurvive

Elbows up. United we stand on guard. We withstand months of winter, - 40 windchills 🥶, (we are tough) AND we help our neighbours shovel… yes, we spell « neighbour » with a « u ». #WeAreCanadian
And to think I got up at 3 AM during a trip to Hawaii to see a sunset over a volcano. Don’t get me wrong. It was a life experience, but I realized how amazing the sunrises and sunsets are in Alberta all the time!! #CanadaRocks

I’m sorry (not sorry). I can’t comprehend the arrogance to think Canadians would feel honoured to be offered a chance to be American.I’d rather die in the frozen arctic tundra being mauled by a polar bear. There is a maple leaf 🍁 imprinted on my soul after 400 ancestral years here.Vive le Canada 🇨🇦

Spending 10 days in Mexico. 🇲🇽 Mis amigos. ❤️ We helped a fellow Canadian woman who left her purse in a cab. 🚕 I was able to translate with the restaurant owner & he tracked down the cab and got her purse back. They were kind, honest heroes. 💗 beautiful, kind 🇲🇽 Mexico.
