While I had it, my PIP essentially paid my staff while I was recovering, allowing me to keep trading in a new business. My PIP was cancelled last September and an appeal denied. 2/3

When I was recovering from stage 3C bowel cancer I was awarded PIP and couldn't have survived without it, especially as I was ousted from my thriving pub business during chemo. When my PIP was cancelled my cancer care team were shocked saying "you're in our care for five years!" 1/3
