Struck horror/fantasy fiction gold at the thrift store the other day
Clive Barker's The Damnation Game. A figure is silhouetted in blue light in the style of the poster for The Thing. In a painted border are all manner of monsters and ghouls encircling the image in warm tones. The Black Company by Glen Cook. It says "Darkness wars with darkness- until the new light breaks" Against a plain background, a figure that looks a lot like doctor doom (metal mask and gauntlets, dark cloak, etc) stabs the middle of a glowing pentagram with a giant fantasy dagger. there's a white rose off to the left. Peter Straub's SHADOWLAND. An image made purely of silver and black. A spooky house in the bottom left corner of the image is overwhelmed by a wave of silver that makes up giant wavy letters spelling the title. They culminate in gnarled branch-like ends. Clive Barker's The Thief Of Always. a young boy runs away from the viewer down an abstract pathway, towards a yellow light. the background is in lilacs, greens and blues, with the title in red. The boy's shadow stretches towards us, and his shadow's arms are bat-like wings.

A favorite from my collection - this luminous little one from the 1960s.
A color photo of a delicate and fluffy white medium-haired cat sitting on a window ledge. They are looking at the camera. What makes this photo extra special is that the cat is backlight by the sun coming through the window, the light illuminating their fluffy hair making them appear so luminous and angelic.
