In an act of reinvention, I dressed as a clown for my first 2025 show.
Going deaf is hard and it makes you seconds guess yourself as a musician, but I don’t have to be perfect to still make and share my songwriting with the world. It’s still valid and worthwhile.

For the last few days, I've gone to bed reading this book, dozing as I dream of the death and birth of stars thousands of lightyears away.
It brings me peace to know that the men in charge on this planet are so small—such clumsy creatures amidst a parade of things far more beautiful. #degrassetyson

What I love most about the composition of this #photo I took is the way Bryan is holding the flower stalk against himself. It’s reminiscent of military #portraiture, in which soldiers often hold a rifle in the same fashion. But instead, this poet holds a flower, a symbol of nonviolent #resistance.
