I love looking up definitions of words; I always have. Some days you could find me looking at my parents' copy of the OED with a magnifying glass as a kid. It made a difference in how I viewed the world, and I think that's part of why I majored in language & literature in English and Spanish.

Black Hawk Down. I went because of Orlando Bloom. He is in a war movie for a grand total of five minutes. I spent the next 2 hours and 28 minutes listening to gruesome medical talk behind my closed eyes, and eventually my ears got covered.
