The fantasy sequences in the Margaret and Beatles books were intriguing (although I hit a word count chunk about her in a plane to Nether Stowey last night).

Having read Craig Brown's book about the Queen last week, I'm re-reading his one on Princess Margaret.
Both are fascinating, but I'm trying to work out why the Margaret one is better.
Can it be that long life well-lived is just less interesting?
