The invective that Daisley hurls at Muslims he would have hurled at my great-grandparents when they came here and indeed much of it is still true of the ethnic group he slobbers over. 'Aggressive integration policies' do not work in France and would diminish Jewish life here in the UK.

“Anti-west” is such a red flag these days. What even is “anti-Western ideology”? Is South Africa a “Western” country? Using these somewhat mysterious and vague definitions………I am genuinely not sure.

Ethnicity is no barrier to Britishness - it's culture and integration.

That means 'smaller cohorts and aggressive integration policies' - and tackling the institutions that 'have amplified grievance narratives and radical anti-Western ideologies'.

I love this letter and how it highlights the people doing wonderful, impressive things in Handsworth. It makes Jenrick look like what he is - a politician who waltzed in for an hour, saw a bunch of non-white faces and concluded that a vibrant community was actually an unintegrated slum.

They're free. They're online. They're much easier to read than legislation. Conquer your imposter's syndrome, you are smart enough to read a decision and know if it's bullshit.
