Those of us of a certain vintage really need to help make this a thing. My better half is finally approving of my timeline as it’s full of Simon Le Bon images.

Managed to miss the Kasabian part so just bewildered by the little “goat” sting in and out of ad breaks. Made me cringe every single time.
BTW - great ratings - thanks.

Oh no, I won’t be home near email for hours.
No spoilers please, I might even save it as a little treat for half time in the match.

Do it, I doubt you’ll regret it. When I’m away I now vpn back to my home so I can go through my pihole. (Plus you’ll be fascinated by how often sites/devices try to connect home/tracking/ad services)

Nobody ever eats only half a cream scone. Antagonise both sides one half cream first, one jam first.

Support teams firefighting are often dealing with badly written applications and doing amazing jobs keeping the plates spinning at all.

Around 20? years ago when they where a new thing I was travelling back from the US through Detroit airport. As I was washing my hands an elderly Asian guy used an air blade as a urinal. He managed to set the air blade off and I’ll never forget the noise and look of surprise on his face.

As long as those things already have HA integrations you don’t need esp32 for them. You can potentially make “dumb” devices smart and available to HA by using esp32s to control relays to switch them on etc. But I’d always go down smart plugs/IR blasters before messing with the internals of things.

We also have small esp32 minis that have cheap temp sensors on them that measure stuff like the fish tanks water temperature, greenhouse temp/humidity and feed that data back to HA. I can then use that data to turn on fans/alerts etc. Fun to do some microelectronic stuff after years of coding 3/3

This is data from home assistant sent to an esp32 I’ve connected to an e-ink display. It shows a lot of the HA stats on our energy production/usage alongside the weather. 2/3

Hey Jono, I’ve been playing with esphome for a few years now and it’s awesome so shout if you want any help. I use the esp32s in a few ways, typically grabbing data from stuff or displaying info from home assistant. 1/3
