Great night watching Liverpool band Casino support The Lightning Seeds. Nice to hear one of the tunes he wrote with Terry Hall just before he passed away.

Replacing A Harmony Remote Using Home Assistant
For a long time I’ve been a fan of the Logitech harmony remote controls. They let you orchestrate the operations of lots of devices. I like to think of them as setting scenes. For example in the room ...

This new internet age check is brilliant. Using a VPN I can now 'research' top Pornhub videos from different countries. There is some weird shit out there. South Africa, I'm looking at you.

Our robot vacuum cleaner (Geoff) is either showing real ambition or the rise of the machines has started.
I guess it’s a sunny day, so who can blame it for wanting to spend some time in the garden?

Took youngest to see Jamie Webster, She’d Seven and James yesterday in Thetford. Jamie smashed it, great night out.

One of the images from today that really made me smile.
This is right up there with moments I will hold dear from supporting this club.

The two greatest defenders to ever play for our club in front of the Kop.

Jubilation but, above all, the utmost of mutual respect.

We are on the flight path for VE Day celebrations. Barney decided that the best way to watch the planes go over was to lie on his back and roll from one side to the other as they passed overhead.

If like me you’ve been upset by the news this week - take a look at these petitions.
Megathread of pro-trans petitions on Parliament’s petition website. If Labour suddenly gets hit with debates for a bunch of pro-trans petitions, maybe they’ll realise this issue isn’t going away and they’ve fucked up.

I’ll add more as I find them.

Waiting for the @thehornesection.bsky.social to come into stage in Ipswich. Can’t quite put my finger on it, but all the background music has been *improved*. Classics like “walking in Ipswich”, the Beatles “back in the I P S W I C H” amongst many more.

Something has to be done about PL timekeeping. You’ve multiple goal kicks taking >30s a time and a physio on the pitch. The keeper is warned but not booked despite carrying on doing it, and add only 2m of injury time. A goal is scored in that injury time and you add 17s.

There's a parliamentary petition for an independent review of the Cass report into gender medicine for young people. It's a problematic document from by the previous government, shaped by TERFs.

If you're a Brit, you can sign it, whether in the UK or not.

5am start to get to the @ianprowse.bsky.social gig tomorrow. Weather for the journey looks “interesting”. This will be my third Xmas gig in a row and it’s easily my favourite night out annually. Looking forward to songs of hope, support, defiance, the odd tear and the best party of the year.
