I know I've been on Your Party a lot this weekend but I feel like I need to explain why they as a party (and their reply guys) upset me, as an individual, and why I feel they are set up for failure on trans rights. Buckle up cuz this is gonna be a thread.

If I’m ever labelled a “trans activist” by a news publication just because I’m a trans person existing in a space, I will straight up start suing bitches. Not because I don’t believe in trans rights, but because I’m a fucking person first and I’ll make damn sure they acknowledge that.

It costs £90 for a COVID vaccination in the UK. All because it's inconvenient for Tories or Labour to acknowledge COVID is still a threat, even as other nations maintain their vaccination programmes for it.

Here's the thing about the 'civil debate' about trans people - there isn't one.

We exist. Our existence and basic human rights are not up for debate. Period.
I'm fine with silencing views that advocate that other human beings are not worthy of basic human rights.

The trans community’s trust in the NHS’ new puberty blocker trial is low and I can’t help but wonder whether they could have prevented that by involving ANY trans people in its design or operation, and maybe not involving several people who have attended conferences of anti-LGBTQ hate groups

This is chapter and verse for how and why the Supreme Court judgement is bad law. Not just because of the EA or the GRA or basic human decency or the ECHR or Goodwin Vs UK, but because of law laid down in the late 90s.

To fix a problem that doesn't exist, British businesses now have to decide between getting sued by a local bigot funded by JK Rowling, or getting sued by a trans or GNC person and possibly ending up in front of the European Court of Human Rights. They must really love the Labour goverment right now.

Straight up if a game uses genAI at all, it is dead to me. It deserves to die in obscurity and I need game studio execs to get the message that if a game uses genAI, it will become radioactive and bomb.
Furries, do NOT buy this game if it is using any of that generative ai BS. Even if it is "just a little". This is how they slowly add it in and make it more accepted, and they WANT that. THAT is their plan.

There is a bit buried in here that is a change from the draft guidance. They removed the bit allowing providers to ask for a GRC and instead replaced it with something akin to “if documentation provided doesn’t alleviate concerns, you can just ban the trans person anyways” Full direct discrimination
Surely the EHRC can see how INSANE this sounds?

Right!? 😬

“Under the new guidance, places…will be able to question transgender women over whether they should be using single-sex services based on how they look, their behaviour or concerns raised by others”

Really wish Labour voters would stop wasting their votes on Labour. They should vote for a bigger, more popular party with a chance of winning, like the Greens.
Sorry, Labour voters if you want to keep RefUK out, you have to vote Green, it's clearly the logical choice
