Merle has been at the vets all day having her scan. Long long story short: 50/50 chance it's either an infection or Cancer. She has steroids and antibiotics, which will hopefully tell us which. She's having a check up in a couple of weeks, and we'll go from there. 🤞

Merle is home! And aside from her lung issues, it appears she's in perfect health. Vet suspects fluid on her lungs, which will be fixable. She's having a scan later this week to confirm. If it ISNT fluid, then we'll uh... work out what to do from there. But so far, so good...?

Well that was exciting. One of our dining chairs just exploded while I was sat on it. No warning, no wobble, just BOOM! Catastrophic chair failure! Ugh. I mean they've been more or less wrecked for a while thanks to toddler-Goblin and cats, but FFS!

Visited a Kpop shop today! Cor that was fun! And expensive! But mostly fun! Goblin child was complimented on her Stray Kids bag within 30 seconds of us entering the shop and she was BUZZING.

I only have the soopa strong flu meds that knock me out left in the cupboard... oops. Guess imma spend today either sleeping or high as a kite! Good job the kid is in love with the tablet we got her for Xmas.

Well. Been baking most of the day. My yule log turned out a bit bigger than expected this year. My chocolate coating turned more into a dipping sauce too. Mr J has dubbed it "The Christmas Chode." 😅🤦♀️ It might not be pretty (it really isnt) but it'll taste damn feckin good!

The kid is getting a new classmate apparently. I wonder if they will be our new neighbours? 🤔 As far as I know, no one has moved in yet. Guess we'll find out sooner or later. (Yes, I'm nosy.)

Next door have finally moved out and taken their neurotic yappy doggo with them! IT'S GLORIOUS. No bedtime YAP YAP YAP YAP YAAAAAAAAP! for over an hour at a time is bloody wonderful. I intend to thoroughly enjoy the quiet! At least until someone else moves in...
