A terrible anti-consumer practice that won't get the criticism it deserves because it's being done naively by well-meaning people. Review copies are something you should deliver as devs **especially** when they don't make sense for you, because they're not for you they're for the consumer.
In case you're wondering: Team Cherry told me they don't plan on sending out early codes for Silksong (they felt like it'd be unfair for critics to be playing before Kickstarter backers and other players), so don't expect to see reviews until after the game comes out
