I hope other cities will learn from Chicago and be relentless in protecting their residents from these agents and documenting the outrageous and illegal behavior. Protestors and protectors in Chicago and suburbs are to be commended for being strong in pushing back.

all the events cited are well known to most Chicagoans but seeing them compiled in a thread, along with the judge repeatedly saying the feds accounting of these events is not credible, is eye popping. not confident any behavior will change, but this is a valuable record

Quite a contrast to how they approach landscapers in the city where they come out from their cars running in a swarm. What did these workers possibly say to avoid being detained? Not a hype video but a see we’re not thugs video?

Nope, and they’re only going to get bigger because this move guarantees approval of their acquisition of Tegna. The limit on number of stations a broadcaster can own is effectively gone, at least for maga owners.
