This is good: With Trump/RFK destroying CDC, JB Pritzker's officials are exploring the possibility of buying Covid vaccines from manufacturers and distributing them in-state themselves, source tells me.

Dem govs must step up and fill the void.

C’mon @quigley.house.gov Why be part of this?
When Representative Mike Quigley looked at President Joe Biden, he was reminded of something painfully familiar, Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson write:

JB unintentionally trolling with that old word grocery
I've heard from those in Venice that the lack of affordable grocery options was taking a toll.

In 2021, McConnell successfully filibustered a Democratic CR ahead of a government shutdown and forced them to accept a clean one instead. What happened this week - a total cave on a totally partisan long-term funding bill - hasn’t happened in the 20 years I’ve covered Congress.

Yo @durbin.senate.gov, no one is picking up your Senate phone and you don’t even have a voicemail. Vote no on cloture and the spending bill or I will do whatever it takes to make sure the next Senator from Illinois has basic constituent services set up during business hours.

An important announcement from the Governor of Illinois.
