Illinois sued President Donald Trump early Monday morning over the deployment of National Guard troops into the state against the wishes of Gov. JB Pritzker. The lawsuit names Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem among the defendants. trib.al/VdUdLr0

The lawsuit comes hours after a federal judge in Oregon barred Trump from deploying federalized members of the any National Guard troops under Trump's command to Oregon.

BREAKING: Gov. JB Pritzker on Monday said the Illinois National Guard has received word that the Department of Homeland Security is seeking the deployment of 100 military troops to Illinois.

Pritzker said the Illinois National Guard obtained a memo that DHS sent to the Defense Department which sought to request 100 military personnel for Illinois.
