There’s a woman who lives near me who is posting online about her dog’s eye being paralysed after a paralysis tick. She’s refusing to get vet treatment. My heart is breaking for the dog 😭 I feel so helpless

I have a friend who recently took his daughter on holiday; he said he had countless people approach him and tell him what a fantastic job he was doing. He was aware enough to point out to them that his wife does it every day! He asked her and she’d never been approached
A young guy saw the baby strapped to me on the train this morning so he came over and said "just wanted to tell you you're doing a great job. My dad would've never held me like that. It's nice to see good dads." And, yes, the bar for men is on the floor, etc. But it was so sweet.

Big news for those with endometriosis in Australia: Visanne is now on the PBS! 🎉 This is a huge step in making endo treatment more accessible and affordable.
Visanne, also known by the generic name dienogest, will have its cost reduced from more than $800 per year for a course of daily tablets to $380 per year, or around $90 per year for pension and concession card holders.

I really hope this helps to protect kids from further harm in the situation I once was; very grateful social media didn’t exist when I was in primary school!

I really hope this helps to protect kids from further harm in the situation I once was; very grateful social media didn’t exist when I was in primary school!
Just got the Implanon removed after dealing with debilitating side effects. It’s maddening that managing endometriosis often means sacrificing our health in other ways. Why are the solutions for such a widespread condition so inadequate? It shouldn’t feel like a choice between pain and wellness.

Growing up and living in the tropics most of my life has shaped how I dress. When it’s sweltering year-round, clothing choices are about practicality and staying comfortable - not about "provoking" anyone! I’ll never understand those who think others should dress for them

The princess is recovering well, she’s found her voice again to bark at the peacock - now to just keep her quiet for a couple more days so she can heal! 💛 I found out she made all the vet nurses carry her around before her surgery or she’d cry - diva behaviour and I’d expect nothing less 😆

How can it take over a decade to receive an endometriosis diagnosis? Like this:
I first saw a doctor about severe period pain in my early teens and was put on the contraceptive pill to help manage the pain, no tests were organised or run.
