Over the age of 50 I fully appreciate receiving socks from my grandparents for Christmas as a child . . . extremely under appreciated by my younger self. What a gift of comfort and security.

Anyine else absolutely sick of every little thing having become political since 2015? It was not always this way, it is a deliberate and “easy” way to divide humans with shared values but limited access to knowledge or time to dive into details a clear way to define “other”. Kinda sick of it.

On a side note - I am thoroughly enjoying listening ti Irena Shapiro’s historical fiction books. Her writing is so descriptive and puts you back in time through great storytelling. I recommend taking a loom / listen.
