I came across this through another repost, and it's definitely worth taking some time out to read it all.
I'm not sure if others have noticed this, but interesting that one of the Prescott criticisms of the BBC is based on those of the 'History Reclaimed' group, which is also associated with the 'Restore Trust' group's attacks on & so far unsuccessful attempts to take control of the National Trust. 1/3

This is a lie.

There are many criticisms you might sensibly and truthfully make of the Sentencing Council and the Sentencing Guidelines. I’ve been making them for years.

But this is an outright lie. Pure fabrication. A fraud on the public.

Who knew that Matthew Syed has a sense of humour!
Rubs eyes. Looks again. Rubs eyes.

It's still there.

This has been known for eons, but now with social media and other platforms, it's been perfected.
Manipulation has become common.
I remember when truth and honesty and integrity and morality were important traits.

Russia's attempt to put one of its puppets into power in Moldova has failed. We must ensure it experiences the same failure in the UK.

Either the London Press Council has a wicked sense of humour, or it reflects on how low standards have fallen.
Congratulations to Chris Mason for being nominated for 'Political Journalist Of The Year' in the London Press Club Awards. He was nominated for his "fearless commitment to unbiased, objective reporting" by a Mr N Farage of Clacton.

Douglas Carswell has skirted the line and now he's crossed it.

This is disgusting racism from a former MP who now demonstrates who and what he is.

When we talk about authoritarian oligarchs, Putin is the model. He is worth some $200 billion, kills dissidents and rigs elections.

And he started this horrific war in Ukraine.

We all want peace. But any peace talks must include the Ukrainians. It’s their country.

The numbers were small. But at a far right protest in Bristol, we saw a movement that believes it’s winning.

on pointing out the soaring rise in immigration “since we completed Brexit” - a key factor. This should be pointed out to Farage (who championed Brexit) in every interview

Humour can be very useful for putting across important information and this is a good, but sad, example. Well worth reading many of the comments as well.

❗ The UK Government must prioritise our relationship with the EU over sucking up to Trump.

The EU is our nearest, biggest and more reliable trade partner.

Trump's US is hostile, chaotic and has proven it's no friend of the UK.

I have commented on this in the thread, but thought it worth another repost as well. Even by current events in the US I find it hard to believe that the DHS message is genuine. Please let me know if this is actually how they now do business.
Some personal news: the Department of Homeland Security has given me, an immigration lawyer born in Newton, Massachusetts, seven days to leave the U.S. Does anyone know if you can get Italian citizenship through great-grandparents?

Today my wife and I were each expecting a parcel. I got quite smug when her delivery notification showed it was actually in next door's front garden. An hour later I received notice that my parcel had been delivered to the back porch - next door again! Karma, I suppose!
The joy of home deliveries!
