I cannot stop thinking about @timothysnyder.bsky.social 's take on unpredictability as freedom. Then I heard this neuropsych speak on anxiety in a way that dovetails beautifully with his (and also @rebeccasolnit.bsky.social 's) perspectives.
You need to hear what this neuropsych says you were getting wrong. It matters more than you think.

The right spent decades creating an alternate universe and destroying our faith in facts and the truth. They claimed the "left wing media" was biased, so people would mistrust it. IDK how we fight this, because half the country believes lies, but think we do.
