Yes, this. Cancer is glamorised in the movies & sanitised in the stories published especially by cancer charities. It doesn't depict the reality of cancer & we end up feeling as if we are alone in what is happening to us. Knowing that others have similar experiences helps us #CanSky #ThanksCancer
I watch a lot of documentaries, all kinds. True crime, war, history or biographical.
What I want to see is a cancer journey. The emotional toll taken, everything from horrible survival rates weighing on you to watching support group members succumb.

Christianity is so prevalent here in the flat 48 that nothing else gets through because while I've never met a satanist that made me say "Holeee fuck- I'm glad I'm not one of those people!" I've known so many Christians that fit that description that I can count on one hand the ones who weren't.

If my cartoons had been around for me when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, it would have meant the world to me. It’s a great blessing to be able to do this for others.

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.
