Yesterday was the last Saturday for the Georgia Renaissance Festival. Had a great time with a friend wandering. I also got my dream hat!I had been afraid if I got it that there would not be enough appropriate opportunity to wear it. Screw that. I may never take it off!

She was my rescue dog, in that she rescued me. We adopted her right before I had major surgery, and she was my sweet nurse maid through my recovery. She passed right after my next major medical issue, and it broke my heart.

This was part of my wife's Mother's day. There was two of these little solar charged butterfly bushes. She put one in her little garden and then the other she is going to place next to her mom's headstone next weekend in Alabama.
