Now that I look it back up, he wasn't released on an Alford plea. Georgia Supreme Court overturned the conviction outright.

They didn't get intentional, but the way felon murder is written in Georgia, they really didn't have a way not to convict him for that.

It was terrible. They used the felony "Improper use of hunting equipment" to get felony murder. They tried to get him for intentional murder, using such evidence of his like for Steven King novels and his love of hard rock music. They used the felony murder as a safety net for conviction.

I need to watch this. A friend of mine's son was convicted of felony murder after killing his brother in an hunting accident. It was very convoluted way to get a murder conviction. He was layer released I believe on an Alford plea when he won an appeal for a new trial.

For sure. Chicken would be tempting, but I don't trust keeping it at a safe temperature that long. Really limits everything to porn and beef.

I'm not sure. I know I am doing the beans again, including a vegan version for @ahyessedai.bsky.social. Do you have a meat plan? I might do brisket again, but I'd be just as happy to do a pork butt.
