I'll put in a plug here for Costco's mail-order pharmacy, which is by far the best pharmacy I've ever used--maybe the best online service of any kind, for that matter. Responsive, quick, friendly (and I don't think you even need to be a member?).

Especially when there's one less than 10 miles away, in the same county.

Yeah, I need to return to that book. I started it when it came out, and never finished.

Spending seems way down overall. 4Q economic reports will not be pretty.

That was offered by a friend who's sitting over there in the dark. Sure is an odd one!

I’ll try this. My Vieux Carré variation is to swap in Laird’s apple brandy (the black label version) for the cognac.

Speaking of minor ingredients making a big difference, I’m always surprised at how much of a role just .25 oz of creme de cacao plays in the All In. punchdrink.com/recipes/all-...

There was a great thread recently on here about the best-ever first tracks on albums, and somebody suggested "Skin & Bones" by the Sundays. I hadn't thought of them in years! Re-listened to "Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic," and it's so great.

Yes. It turns out that the stuff that's been filed under "friction" is what human life is actually made of. Oops.

It's all based on the notion (again, intuitive, but incorrect) that people somehow already know what they're interested in. They don't.
