Making models.
My #3Dprinted gate template worked great! I was able to cut my door to fit the doorway I carved in XPS foam. Now, the door needs hinges and perhaps other hardware. There's gaps around it, but I know from experience the wall repair paste I use will fill those. #35scale #scalemodel #plasticmodel

Part of a mid-twentieth century Italian house, or other town structure, carved in XPS foam, 1/35 scale. #3DPrint jigs help me carve the foam and build the door (coffee stirrers). Modelers usually favor SLA resin printing but FDM can supply tools, jigs, and fixtures. #scalemodel #35scale

The ancient Peerless-Max 1/35 WC54 ambulance kit, reproduced by Italeri and then reboxed by Testors in the 1980s. Some challenge involved, but good for its era.

Mid-twentieth century Italian architectural details in 1/35 scale. I drew these up in Tinkercad and printed them on my old Mars 2 printer.

For the diorama builder, simple works like these make a 3D printer worth the trouble and expense.
