My #3Dprinted gate template worked great! I was able to cut my door to fit the doorway I carved in XPS foam. Now, the door needs hinges and perhaps other hardware. There's gaps around it, but I know from experience the wall repair paste I use will fill those. #35scale #scalemodel #plasticmodel

Printing one more tray then onto sanding and such. Prints turned out great so far! Smashed my thumbnail inside the glove on edge of steel buildplate while scraping off parts. 😬

Bottom flippers are done. Since the fins will be fabric, those holes on the brackets are for stitching heavy thread through to make them more antique-ish steampunk sail-like.

Part of a mid-twentieth century Italian house, or other town structure, carved in XPS foam, 1/35 scale. #3DPrint jigs help me carve the foam and build the door (coffee stirrers). Modelers usually favor SLA resin printing but FDM can supply tools, jigs, and fixtures. #scalemodel #35scale
