Starting off my weekend wishing I could do FC, NFC, or ANE next year but also thinking maybe I'd rather visit Europe/friends, or save my money for local quality of life.
I'm burned out by trips where I spend most of my time racing around hoping to see people or struggling to find decent food.

This year I've barely noticed BLFC was going on. Maybe it's because I'm not on Twitter anymore... Or maybe it's because almost nobody takes five days off to mull around a casino and get food poisoning for a con in small-town Nevada.
Most Americans only get 10-18 days off a year. (I'm lucky)

I'm sure gaming companies can't base their release dates on calendar holidays or randomly declared weeks. Nobody would delay a release very long for that. Coincidences. 🤓

So earlier today this nasty ass truck went by the Ontario convention center and these fuckers screamed "faggots" at us.
We took it in some stride, but it's my first time experiencing that and it does reduce how safe it feels out here.

I've never had a hotel experience where the headboard of the bed physically hit me in the head before recently. Ambient noise even without parties at 50-72 dBA from door slams and pipes alone constantly.
Music from the parties and the talking was nothing by comparison. But holy yikes. Lol
