Yeah we started on Discord and now regret it - lot of inertia now but we're hoping to get off of it eventually.

I'm doing it in Elixir/Phoenix cuz I've been in Typescript land for like 2 months and I just dont wanna deal with it more

First I'm gonna get to consuming the firehose and saving links. Simple enough

Will be using @devingaffney.com's @graze.social turbostreams

I have no intention of doing that but you're welcome to click the "Remix" button on the @graze.social page for the feed and use it as a starting point for a customised feed without paywalled titles in it. 🙂

I'd recommend giving is a shot to building your own feed with @graze.social
That's what drives the ML feeds. I can tinker with thresholds and decay penalties, it is really impressive.

I decided to do a whitelist vs a simple RegEx (gets spammy quickly). There are 1,276 on the list right now.

You you could do this with @graze.social easy. I have a variant on this idea - uses not negative sentiment + various emotional sentiments and a few other filters:

Not perfect but pretty good and the more you stay on top of them the more you can filter to improve them.
